A remote barn conversion.
This remote barn power system, is capable of producing over 10kw of power, it has auto starting 12Kv Diesel generator. 14kw of solar PV panels, 31kw of BYD batteries. The main system is from Victron Energy, who have been producing off grid power system components since 1975, they are the leaders in remote power systems. The control systems and monitoring are regarded as unrivaled in terms of performance and quality.
A large family home.
This system was designed for a large family house with 10Kv of continuous power and temporary peak power significantly above this. Twin Victron Multiplus 2 provide the AC power and converts the generator output. The system has around 14kw of (45) PV panels and dual solar chargers to ensure the home has plenty of power. Monitoring is via the Victron VRM app, and you can control many aspects of the system from the app, e.g starting the generator, although this is usually done automatically.
The house has been designed as a low energy house from the initial build. It has all the regular appliances that you would expect to find, washing machine, tumble dryer, and dishwasher, all of which are the latest energy efficient models. This system has been up and running for many years and although the local village is often affected by power outages, this house remains powered up.
